Volume Node

A “volume node” refers to a price level or range where a significant amount of trading volume has occurred over a specified period.

It is often visualized on a Volume Profile, which is a charting tool that displays the amount of volume traded at different price levels.

It cause the area where excessive volume has occurred to protrude making it an area of potential importance.
