Swing Low

« Back to Glossary Index

In stock trading and technical analysis, a “swing low” refers to a trough or a low point on a price chart where a security’s price reaches a minimum level before rising. It represents a point where buying pressure exceeds selling pressure, causing the price to reverse direction.

Each new low point beyond the previous one is its own Swing Low. There are multiple Swing lows on any given chart.
